Professional memberships & accreditation:
Royal Institute of British Architects. The RIBA champions good quality building design through training and regulation of architects in their competence and professional conduct, to ensure high standards for the consumer. RIBA members are required to meet high standards and carry out continuous professional development training every year in order to keep up to date with the latest standards and best practice.
Architects Registration Board. The ARB maintains a list of registered architects and ensures that only those with the prescribed qualifications can use the protected title "Architect", so visit the Arb web-site to check your architect is legally entitled to use this title. All ARB members are required to carry professional indemnity insurance of £250,000 minimum.
Association of Energy Conscious Builders. The AECB promote excellence in sustainable building design, through training and standards. It is a network of members and companies at the forefront of sustainable design.
Local Authority Building Control Partner. LABC partner approval allows us to design a project anywhere in the country and retain our good relationship with the local authority (Swindon) for the plan checking side, to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
Swindon Borough Council accredited agent for planning applications. We have been accepted as an accredited planning agent by our consistent submission of high quality planning applications. This saves the council time in validating the application and often results in domestic applications being decided in 6 weeks rather than 8.
