A large 5 bedroom house replacing an existing smaller bungalow on a lakeside plot. The building was carefully designed to utilise the previous buildings floor slab and foundations, reducing build costs and construction period. Planning permission was obtained for a larger dwelling than the original by demonstrating that the additional floor space could be achieved by “Permitted Development”.
