A 4 bedroom house replacing an existing stone cottage in the middle of a wood. The building will be a Certified Passivhaus and is due for completion in 2026/7. The project will be a self build using Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF), and features an external shading structure to control passive solar gains. High levels of insulation, high quality triple glazing, thermal bridge free construction and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery will ensure that this large family house is comfortable, healthy and energy efficient.
